The Henderson Life of Crime is
an educational program designed to reach youth, young adults and their parents. This program is conducted in a courtroom at the
Henderson Municipal Court located at 243 South Water Street on the northeast corner of Water and Basic Streets.
Conflict between parents and teens can be challenging and stressful – the Life of Crime program provides life-changing information
and is a valuable experience for parents, their teenagers and young adults, even in the absence of discord.

LIFE OF CRIME - PART 1:
A presentation on street crime and the detrimental effect it has on individuals and the community is conducted by a variety
of agencies. If availability allows, S.W.A.T., K-9, Repeat Offender Program and other special guests will speak on behalf of
their division, following a story line of two youths who made a choice that starts a negative domino effect. This presentation
will be followed by a question and answer session.
LIFE OF CRIME - PART 2
Inmates from the Henderson Detention Center, who have been involved in criminal activity for most of their lives, will share
their life stories and the impact it has had on them, their families, their friends and the community at large. It will conclude
with a question and answer session.
